Administration of office processes



For my last position acquired at the University I have to support the creation of an information system that must be capable of social edition and social sharing.

But my tasks are more than that!

I support the administration & accounting department. That means I must provide solutions and help the people to automate his work.

This week we find a troublesome task: we must sent different pdf to multiple people. That means 1 person = 1 pdf = 1 email, the trouble was that we can't create a group of emails because the pdf for each person were different.

I think of several solutions but at last Google give me
the anwer: A-PDF guys!!


A-PDF is an enterprise that provides useful tools for pdf's in office day to day.
In our case we choose A-PDF AutoMail which provides lots of interesting Rules for office tasks.
That was a good solution to send over 600 emails to different people.

The woman in charge of billing notification didn't have to send over 600
emails and writing them 1 by 1. With the rules provided in A-PDF AutoMail was easy to create a rule (programatically) to retrieve the names in the .pdf and then match them with a list of names/emails in a .csv file.
So with the proper mail configuration of the tool, it's not even necessary to use the Louts Notes or Outlook.
A very easy to use tool and I recomend it to every one how can afford it.
